I’ve Been Known to Make Resolutions
If you’ve met me (which, if you’re on this website, you probably have) you may known that I tend to be very ambitious. Less in an “I’m going to be a CEO” way, and more in an “I’m going to accomplish a multitude of fabulous goals and be the ultimate Renaissance Woman.” Sometimes this pans out, sometimes it doesn’t.
Last year, I was delighted to realize that I’d completed all of my resolutions: acquire new day job, acquire cat, join a gym (and I actually went from time to time) and release Unshakeble into the wild. With last year’s successes in mind, I’ve gone Insane With Ambition for 2023!
This year I plan to:
Finish writing Unbreakable (a delightful tale about Marta’s best friend Sophie, her not-quite-beau Lawrence, and their adventures in New York)
Also finish Christmas in Carinthia, a Christmas novella starring Marta’s grandmother Dorothea back in the 1810s
Actually blog here more often, because I have many funny stories and memes to share
Travel to Greece; commune with the spirit of Aristophanes
Try very hard not to play Skyrim 24/7 instead of doing all of the above.
Pray for me, party people. This won’t be easy.
